So that little calendar on the left says its 5 days away..the long awaited day...the moment we have been waiting for! But with that day i realize comes soo many new things...a new role, a new husband...well a husband, not necesarily a new one =), a new home, a new family, a new NAME!...and with the closing of that day comes the closing of our time with family and friends who have traveled the distance to celebrate with us.
Peter and I attended a wedding this past weekend...and i was reminded that it will be ME standing up there...me walking down the aisle, me wearing that white dress....ME in just 5 days. my where has the time gone?? it will be ME marrying the man that i truly love sooo dearly...i am getting soo very emotional just writing this. It has been such a beautiful time...and this past month has been filled with so many wonderful festivities...I had a night out last week, a bridal brunch this past weekend...which was amazing and i will post pictures soon, and then this week is the rehearsal dinner and then the BIG DAY and to be honest im a little sad for all the festivities to come to an end...i may miss the chaos of wedding planning and all the small decisions that need to be made...well probably not those, but you get the idea!! Right now i feel as though i eat, sleep, and drink wedding, and peter and i will be soo excited to have our lives back..i will be so excited to not be crazy anymore...to be able to rest. And before we know it..another wonderful, beautiful friend will be marrying the love of her life...thank God for relationships, thank God for this beautiful thing called marriage, and thank GOd for the tough times becuase without them we wouldn't realize how good the good times truly are..=)
