SUSTAIN.

So this post is so long overdue - nearly 1.5 weeks overdue!  But better late than never right??

So as I have mentioned before Peter works for the organization, Children of the Nations, as the Sustainable Development Director.  His job is pretty cool and he truly loves it!  But one of the things he is always having to do for the organization is raise funds for various development projects and programs, along with raising money for his personal support (AKA his salary).  The task quite often feels daunting, but God is so good and He always provides!

So a few Mondays ago, he and one of his coworkers, Tyler, hosted a fundraiser at this great place called the Garage on Capitol Hill.  Their goal was to raise $12,000 for COTN's Microfinance program that was launched last May.  And thanks to so many generous donors and company matches - the goal was reached!!  They even had an anonymous donor give $2,000 in CASH...crazy huh??

Don't you just love stories like this??  I know I sure do!!  So for those of you who weren't able to make it to the event...which I am sure was quite a few, feel free to check out the video below.  Also, If you are interested in reading more about Peter's tasks as the Sustainable Development Director click HERE.

Here are some photos from the actual event.
