Perception.

At church on Sunday, Pastor Richard talked about foundations and perceptions. And to demonstrate an example of perception he had us read this...

Aoccdrnig to rscheearch at Cmabrigde Uinervtisy, it deosn't mttaer in waht oredr the ltteers in a wrod are, the olny iprmoetnt tihng is taht the frist and lsat ltteer be at the rghit pclae. The rset can be a total mses and you can sitll raed it wouthit a porbelm. Tihs is bcuseae the huamn mnid deos not raed ervey lteter by istlef, but the wrod as a wlohe. Amzanig, huh?

It is pretty crazy that we can make sense of this paragraph when all the letters in each word are all jumbled. But the reason we can read it is simply because the first and last letter in each word is in it's correct place, thus our mind just puts the words together. Isn't that crazy?

And that's all I have for you today folks - thanks for reading!
