I know, I know - it's Friday, and my Little Buddy posts normally happen the beginning of the week, but I just couldn't wait to share. So considering I have high blood pressure, I will have more ultrasounds than the average pregnant woman, and considering my mom is an ultrasound tech, I will probably have more ultrasounds than even those with high blood pressure. We have been able to see our little guy 5 times now via ultrasounds, and it's so fun to see how he changes over time.
I mean let's be honest, the little guy started off looking like a little gummy bear at 7 weeks, and then come 9 weeks he had little limbs! It was crazy! And then come 15 weeks, my mom was able to determine his gender, which is crazy right? At less than 4 months, you can determine babies gender. And then at 20 weeks, we were blessed to see our little guy yet again, and we were able to see his profile and hear all his measurements.
And here we are at 28 weeks and 4 days, and guess what? We had another ultrasound and here he is in all his baby glory!! I'm dying to know who you think he looks like.
Little buddy is right on target! And he's in the 37th percentile - so on the smaller side, but let's be honest, I'd rather have him be in the 37th percentile than in the 97th percentile. They gave us all of his little measurements and when they averaged everything out he was right on target with his due date, with his head measuring a bit larger than the average 28 week and 4 day old baby. Oh great right? Haha!
I still can't believe he's actually in there. We got to see his little legs and his little toes and his little fingers. We even got to see his little mouth sucking on his fingers! It's truly amazing, and I'm definitely starting to get a big bigger, but still feel fairly small in comparison to other women that are 7 months.
Here's to a healthy baby and the most wonderful husband!!
Xoxo,
Malia
Yay! I'm so excited for you. Hope I get to see your bump at Christmas!
