Betty Lynn.

Betty Lynn.  What a cute name huh?  I think the name itself slightly ages her don't you?  In this case, I suppose the aging assumption would be correct considering I think she is in her 70's.

Anyhow, Betty Lynn is one of our neighbors (she lives a street over from us), and Peter and I had the privilege of meeting her last week.  We were out for a late night run in the snow, and Betty Lynn was out for a walk.  She had stopped over at our next door neighbors house, and we decided to stop and say hello!

So Paul, our neighbor, introduced us to sweet Betty Lynn.  She had all sorts of stories to tell us.  And she was so amusing!  We told her about ourselves and how we met, and of course she was intrigued by Peter's Irishness.  At the end of conversation, she asked me to write for the neighborhood newsletter and she told Peter she had a present for him, and she would bring it by tomorrow!

Well we continued on our journey and she continued on her's and our paths crossed yet again.  This time Betty Lynn was right outside her own home, and this time she invited us in because remember she had a present for Peter.  How sweet huh?

Well this, my friends, was the present - A lovely napkin she had made with the traditional Irish clovers.  She told us that she gives them to all her Irish friends.  Guess we crossed over to the friendship category - gotta love that!  Thanks Betty Lynn.
