Random Act of Kindness.

Someone told me today of an amazing story that involved a random act of kindness. I have always heard OF these stories, but have never heard it from the lips of someone near and dear to my heart. So this friend has been in a financial bind and it truly seemed as if everything that could go wrong was going wrong. First it was the washer and dryer, next it was the water heater, then to top it all off someone hit her car. It seemed as if one terrible thing was happening after another, and I quite often wondered when she was going to get a break!

Just this afternoon she informed me that she received a check in the mail from an anonymous donor. REALLY?? this stuff actually happens to people I know. She said she put the envelope in the recycling bin because she assumed it was junk mail. Then she took it back out of the bin because she started to second guess herself and when she took the contents out of the envelope she was in shock. Turns out the envelope contained a cashiers check in HER name. She first thought it was a joke and that the check was fake, but she licked her finger and when her finger graced the check, the ink smeared, proving itself real...just goes to show you that God does take care of us even when we doubt Him. God is good all the time, all the time God is good. Thanks be to God for his glory, power and might.
