It's the Little Things.

This month has truly just flown by!  I can't believe it's December this weekend.  Where has the time gone?  I feel like I'm always saying that!  I have even started my Christmas shopping, and let's just say online shopping is the absolute BEST - why haven't I done this more often?  I mean, I can order things from my computer, and then I'm the one that gets the packages at my door.  And who doesn't love receiving packages even if they aren't officially for you?  I mean I still get to open them up and then repackage the little treasures that are inside.  And I get so excited to actually see the items in person!  So here's to online shopping!

And here's to delightful visitors!  Peter's youngest brother, Stuart, came to visit a few weekends ago.  He and his lovely friends were only here for the weekend - don't worry they didn't come to Seattle just for a 3 day visit, even though Stuart has been known to do that!  Rather, they were finishing up their West Coast tour, which consisted of California and Seattle, and they were finishing off their trip with a few days in Seattle.  We hit up all of Stuart's favorite spots - the RAM, Die Bierstube, my parent's house on the Hood Canal, downtown, and we ended their time with a visit to one of Peter's favorite spots, Revel, and a visit to Zoeyogurt!

And here's to a fabulous Thanksgiving weekend!  It was so restful, and we spent the majority of our time at my parent's house, which always forces me to sit and rest, rather than run around like a crazy person doing house jobs or running errands.  We ate good food, slept at least 9 hours, worked out at the  Y, and just spent time together.  Oh it was so good and so very needed!!

And here's to the lovely women in my family!!  When I asked my grandma what her highlights have been over the past few months, she said ...well that great grandbaby that you are carrying!  She's doing great health wise, but please pray that she gets to hold little buddy in her arms and kiss his sweet cheeks come February/March.

Happy belated Thanksgiving to all of you!!  I hope you had a delightful time with family and friends and that you took the time to ruminate on your blessings.

Much Love,

The Drennan's
