Growing // You are definitely getting bigger! But I haven't weighed you lately. Maybe you weigh 24 lbs?
Eating + Sleeping // You LOVE to eat and you get sad when other people are eating around you and you aren't! You want to eat everything and you eat alot. I'm dying to know how much you actually weigh and what percentile you're in as you are like a garbage disposal, devouring every single thing put in front of you. For breakfast you eat a few eggs and toast or some oatmeal or some mornings you even have both! You love turkey meat, peas, broccoli, apples, bananas, cheese, cereal, raisins, quesadillas, yogurt, avocado, sweet potatoes, beans, and the list goes on and on! You're still breastfeeding twice a day, morning and night. I'm sure I could drop both feeds, but I love breastfeeding and I love that snuggle time with you mister. But at night, quite often you're so tired and you just want to go to sleep. We can't even get you to pay attention to the book in front of you as you just want to nurse and go to bed. You're still going to bed around 6 and waking up around 6:30/7. And you sleep straight through the night. It blows my mind how early you go to bed and how long you sleep! And then you are napping twice a day, around 8:30/9 and 12/12:30. Both naps are about an hour, maybe longer, but never shorter. And we transitioned you back into your crib in your own room this month.
Wearing // Everything you wear is 12-18 months and I think you actually have a few items that are 2T that you're wearing. And you are still in size 4 diapers.
Loving // You love getting into things. You are so mischievous. And your brother is equally as mischievous, and the two of you together are crazy! For example, you love going into the bathroom, but if we close the door, you can't get in there. However, your brother loves to open the bathroom door and lift up the toilet seat so that you will crawl into the bathroom, pull up on the toilet and put your hands in the toilet bowl water. It all happens so fast, and I know it's happening because I can hear Jack just cracking up and saying "Ry guy! Oh no Ry guy!" He also opens the fridge door for you to start pulling things out of the fridge, and he opens the dishwasher for you to crawl up onto. And as much as it all drives me wild, it's pretty funny. I love seeing how the two of you are already working together as a team, even if it's giving me grey hairs. You love your pacifier still and when you are tired and fussy, all we have to do is stick that thing in your mouth and your eyes kind of roll back and you just go silent. It's incredible. You love doing whatever your brother is doing. And you love exploring every single thing. You are so busy, far more busy than Jack ever was. You are into everything...I mean EVERYTHING!
Loathing // Sometimes I think you loathe your brother. You guys have such a love/hate relationship. Jack loves to take things from you and push you and pat your back a little too hard, and all you have to do is cry and mama or dada come running. And let's just say it feels like you've been crying alot lately! Poor boy. You loathe being confined. So you are all about protesting your carseat and the stroller as you hate being strapped in to anything. You hate sitting still! And you still hate staying up past your bedtime.
Words // Uh oh. Dada. Hi. I really don't understand why you haven't picked up Mama yet. You do say it, but not nearly as much as you say dada, so I have yet to count it as a true word.
Doing // You are cruising around on the couch and coffee table and walking a bit with your walker. You are babbling alot and laughing alot and you copy things we do now. I cough and you cough, I laugh and you laugh. It's pretty funny! You enjoy playing with lego and putting pieces together and banging things together and throwing balls around the house and playing with the play kitchen. You love throwing your water bottle and milk cup off your tray as you love the sound it makes when it hits the floor and you think it's a game! You still love playing hide n seek. And when we turn music on you move your legs and dance! You are cutting your molars! And one of them has popped through your gums, and the others are making their way through.
Milestones // You have 9 teeth, nearly 10 or 11 as the other 2 are visible but they haven't fully made their way through! And you got glasses!! And we went to the aquarium for the first time.
